If you’re an Apple user, you’ve probably had some troubles with the App Store or Apple Music. Apple’s system status website on Monday listed issues affecting “all users” for each provider since 11:41 a.m. ET, without going into detail on what the issues are.
The App Store and Apple Music are both normally active in our tests, however users reported troubles for several hours until they were repaired.
Apple’s Privacy Labels weren’t showing up on many App Store listings, according to 9to5Mac, which cited a source stating it was a bug that could be fixed immediately.
On Reddit, users have reported that Apple Music is missing lyric data, Dolby Atmos, and lossless audio from songs that should have these features, and that some users are unable to play music even after it has been downloaded to their local storage for offline listening.
Some customers said that logging in and out fixed the missing lossless audio selections, but not the missing lyrics. As shown below, we were able to confirm the issue with lyrics.
Apple’s status page has been updated, indicating that issues with each supplier have been fixed. The problem’s chronology has been changed to 4:15 AM – 12:02 PM, which corresponds to what consumers experienced if it’s set to Pacific Time.
On our end, the lyrics options are working again, and the private labels are back in place, so your downloaded songs should be playing again.
