Apple Now Offers Self-Service Repair For Studio Display And M1 Mac Desktops

Apple has added another enhancement to its self-service repair program after extending it to Europe earlier this month.

Six Colors claimed that Apple’s self-service repair program now supports Studio Display and Mac desktops, but only in the United States.

What’s New?

Due to today’s expansion, the self-service repair program now includes genuine Apple parts, equipment, and instructions for the M1 iMac, M1 Mac mini, and Mac Studio. This extension also includes the Studio Display.

In April, Apple’s self-service repair program debuted in the US, supporting several iPhone SE, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13 components.

In August, compatibility for the M1 MacBook Air and M1 MacBook Pro was added for the Mac.

The program was made available earlier this month outside of the US in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and the UK.

What’s More?

Customers of Apple in such nations have access to the same resources as those in the US for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13.

There is currently no information regarding an expansion for customers outside of the United States regarding the new addition to Mac desktops and the Studio Display.

The self-service repair program in various European nations does not support the M1 MacBooks.

Digging Into More Details

Presumably, Apple will soon expand its Mac self-service repair program to Europe. For the time being, the program gives consumers in the USA access to genuine Apple tools, manuals, and parts for the following products:

  • iPhone SE
  • iPhone 12
  • iPhone 13
  • M1 MacBook Air
  • M1 MacBook Pro
  • Mac Studio
  • M1 Mac mini
  • Studio Display
  • M1 iMac
